Overview

JOB DESCRIPTION
Sesame Workshop is looking for a Freelance Production Coordinator, International Social Impact. The position of Production Coordinator for Sesame Workshop’s International Social Impact involves:

  • Supporting internal and international production teams
  • Communicating with various departments within the company through various stages of production and projects
  • Administrative functions, including processing contracts and expense reports
Responsibilities could include (but are not limited to):

Creative Production Support

  • Engage in all aspects of the production process with the Producer’s oversight and supervision
  • Attend script reviews/rough cut reviews and write team comments/notes and meeting minutes
  • Review and write show evaluations
  • Create presentations, overview documents and graphs for meetings
  • Liaise between departments answering production queries
  • Assist with special projects as needed
  • Research products and media landscapes in specific countries
     Manage or support digital and social media needs (YouTube, Facebook, etc.)
  • Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe Premiere editing skills to assemble clip reels
Administrative

Provide overall Administrative and Production Support to producers, such as:

  • Process contracts
  • Assist with daily operations and logistics
  • Review, tag, & log deliverables
  • Document information to calculate residuals
  • Arrange meetings, book production and catering services, as needed
  • Manage travel accommodations and process expense reports for producers
Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Television/Film/Media Production, Communications, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 2 years’ experience with TV/Digital/Film/Media production
  • Strong interest in children’s media and education
  • Experience in curriculum-based children’s programming a plus
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong online research skills
  • Basic production, post-production, and social media experience
  • Moderate knowledge in production and editing software and tools
  • Capacity to work across multiple projects and with various teams
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and across various time zones
  • Must thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Foreign language skills a plus
