Summary

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate to create dynamic 3D elements to enhance our 2D pipeline.
Work with a team of Art Directors, Animation Supervisors, and Compositors to create trackers, masking elements, and lighting effects needed to composite 3D elements.
Make sure all elements are rendered correctly and delivered to composition.
Execute changes and revisions as requested by Art Directors and Animation Directors.
Work within our established studio animation and composition pipeline and procedures.
Collaborate with respect, humility, inclusion, and open-mindedness.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants will be required to take an animation test to ensure that they have the necessary understanding of animation fundamentals and 3DS Max proficiency.
Knowledge of Vray, compositing principles, and character animation are a plus.
Must demonstrate an understanding of real world physics, vehicle motion and interaction with environments, acceleration, momentum, and timing.
The ability to rig complex vehicles in 3DS Max is a plus.
Must understand storyboards and be able to create dynamic action sequences timed animatics.
Strong composition skills, with the ability to match 3D animation to 2D background elements.
Exercise strong time management skills, as well as the ability to meet tight deadlines to the expected level of quality.
Must take direction well and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to critically self-evaluate, self-edit, and problem solve.
Capacity to adapt to a broad range of looks from realistic to stylized.
Must be willing to relocate to Atlanta, Georgia. Where the only thing sweeter than the tea, is the people.
