Job Description
OVERVIEW
- Augment and develop creative techniques, research and incorporate new technology
- Animate solid character performances individually or as part of a team depending on project needs, under the supervision of the animation director
- Collaborate and share ideas with the creative and production teams
RESPONSIBILITIES
Will include but are not limited to;

- Animate in various styles as required by projects (vehicles, complex characters, creatures, etc)
- Meet assigned project deadlines as set by lead/production team
- Research for or record reference materials as a solid foundation for an exceptional character animation performance
- Work closely with 3D artists, Leads, and the Creative Director to ensure clients needs and requirements are all met
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of animation and how to best employ those principles to create performance that supports the project
- Experience working with various animation styles ranging from stylized cartoon to photo-real performance
- Must possess a working knowledge of an animation and post production pipeline
- Experience and strong knowledge of the animation aspect of Maya is a must, proficiency in Adobe Premiere and photoshop a plus
- Excellent time management skills
- Must be able to work well within a team environment and take direction
