Job Description

The Production Assistant for Lucasfilm Animation will provide overall administrative support for all departments.

Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support and back-up support to the production team that ensures all production events are smooth, efficient, well run and professional.
Manage schedule for VP, Franchise Production
Assist with script breakdowns.
Assist in populating internal production/creative tracking system with asset naming conventions and other pertinent data needed.
Schedule and organize meetings for various departments.
Research and gather materials and information necessary for the preparation and execution of the production processes, such as preparing all paperwork and setup required for turnovers/kickoffs internally and overseas and prepping Review Sessions.
Type meeting notes, memos, documents and schedules as required
Photocopy and scan images/reference/schedules and filing as required.
Upload and download images from Secure FTP/Transfer Folders as necessary.
Prepare routine correspondence and forms. Package, ship, and track electronic files and deliverables.
Assist with food service and catering set up.
Complete special projects as needed or requested.

Basic Qualifications:
1 year of experience in Production minimum, preferably in animation.
Requires excellent administrative skills, including word processing, strong working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook. Project Management software experience preferred.
Capable of working independently and as part of a team. High level of initiative, flexibility and confidentiality.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and follow up/follow through skills required.
Ability to establish priorities and multi-task efficiently within a high-pressure, fast paced environment while meeting strict deadlines. Ability to work in a start-up environment that has a certain degree of ambiguity.
Bachelor's Degree in film, art, communications or related field preferred.
