Job Description
- Prepare contract documents, including Scopes of Work, Milestone Schedules, and bidders list, and coordinate the RFP process.
- Perform oversight of vendor contracts for assigned projects. This includes but is not limited to evaluation of technical performance and adherence to the contract requirements, which includes all aspects of the project.
- Identify, analyze, and respond to project risks that arise during the lifecycle of a project while keeping stakeholders advised of important developments.
- Manage vendor submittals, requests for information, modification documents, the directive process, and the change order process.
- Monitor change or delays to project schedules. This includes but is not limited to evaluation of Contractors schedule performance and schedule coordination with other groups and departments. Develops mitigation plans should project(s) become at risk for achieving schedule milestones.
- Monitor and control impacts to project scopes and budgets. Identify and communicate all potential impacts with supervisor and submit project control requests for executive review.
- Monitor quality assurance of assigned projects, including but not limited to regular on-site walks to monitor progress to ensure that the work being accomplished is in accordance with the contract documents
- Monitor and tracks overall project progress. Develops and distributes regular progress reports to Sr. Manager and project stakeholders.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health, & Safety responsibilities by following established USH policy, procedures, training, team member involvement activities, and applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited four-year program is required – Business Management, Project Management, Engineering Management, or equivalent is preferred.
Experience
- 1-3 years: management / construction / engineering related experience
- 1-3 years: theme park specific experience preferred
- or equivalent combination of education and experience
Other Requirements
- Strong technical oral and written communication skills for a wide audience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 productivity and collaboration tools
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and time management skills
- Ability & willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with short notice
- Ability to read and understand technical and engineering documentation.
Desired Characteristics
- Working technical knowledge of ride and show equipment
- Knowledgeable in local regulations and industry standards (i.e., ASTM F24)
- Experience in a union environment
