Responsibilities
• A high degree of confidentiality and discretion are expected in regards to all matters and documents.
• Combined role of providing support to Music Producer and Assisting with Research in the Talent Department.
• Answering phones and taking messages.
• Creating and maintaining extensive talent documents.
• Compile and maintain list of incoming tours.
• Update whiteboard calendars.
• Send AM music “newsletter.”
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Prior assistant experience.
• Obsessive knowledge of music, movies, television and pop culture.
• Minimum 1 year experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Bachelors degree required.
• Previous talk show or news experience a plus.
• Ability to work under constant deadlines.
• Must be able to multi-task and possess excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment as a member of a daily production team.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills a must.
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.
