Job Description

You Will
  • Maintain key schedules and docs for the production season.
  • Support lead Producer and PM on pre-production for the weekly video and podcast show.
  • Attend shoots for both podcasts and some sneaker-related shows (including some travel possibly), and help manage crews, support pcr tests/self certifications, maintain the set, and assist the guest / talent with any needs.
  • Secure talent releases and upload to Legal Deliverables/Wrap Drive (proper show day/time folder)
  • Provide back-up administrative support for the PM with regards to travel booking, finance tracking, submitting invoices and expenses, meal orders, etc. 
  • Facilitate meetings, set up conference/video conference calls; take and distribute meeting notes as requested
  • Assist in post production with potential photo research, clearing assets with Legal, etc
  • QC the final exports of episodes (audio & video) then share to rcreview@complex.com for review.
  • Send launch email each week for youtube (video) version, post the audio version to acast cms, and oversee all launch titles, descriptions, timestamps, and thumbnails.
  • Post the audio version to acast cms.
  • Wrap each video and audio episode by ensuring music cue sheets, video asset logs, and releases are added to the Deliverables/Wrap Drive as well as the video masters and audio files archived in Iconik.
  • Support and Deliver Snapchat Show Edits for FSR and Sneaker Shopping.
  • Make sure episodes maintain each shows branding and overall look and feel in their shorter versions made for snapchat
  • Review edits done by editors of Full Size Run and Sneaker Shopping. 
  • Upload and launch weekly snapchat episodes.
  • Create thumbnails via photoshop for each episode 
  • Write copy for episodes 
  • Manage editor schedules for each season of the 2 shows (SS, FSR)
  • Ensure sponsorships are properly portrayed if an episodes/season is sold to a brand
  • Additional tasks, as necessary

You Have
  • Solid understanding of the Complex Audience and Goals
  • Degree in Film/Communications/Production and or internships in a related field
  • Candidates should have strong interest in / experience in production and podcasts
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications is essential
  • Familiarity of audio editing in Audition and/or Pro Tools
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills 
  • The ideal candidate will be adept at understanding the nuances of supporting various team members, with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse styles and shifting priorities
  • Focus and tenacity to get tasks completed
  • Resourceful nature and self-sufficiency 
  • Fast-moving and communicative while working on a variety of timely projects
  • Please note: this position can be physically demanding (running errands, occasional heavy lifting, etc.) and could require occasional evening/weekend work
