The Daily
  • You’re part of the digital production team. This role is a weekday night shift, working alongside our talented P.M. CNN Politics news team.
  • You monitor the CNN Politics homepage, look for ways to optimize our stories and flag Politics content to our global programming partners.
  • You have an eye for headlines, visuals and what draws someone into a story — and keeps them there.
  • As midterm season gets rolling, you’re a key player in primary night, town hall and debate night coverage.
  • You post to our CNN Politics accounts on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
  • You work with our SEO team, tighten SEO titles, and make sure stories have crosslinks; you know a search opportunity when you see it.
  • You like to tell stories, have a keen eye for detail and thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
  • You know the major players in news and politics, and can spot a trending story to make sure we’re on it — or ahead of it.
  • Other production duties with the possibility of writing for the breaking news team.
