Associate Producer

We are looking for a multi-tasker who can not only take on the role of MSJ but contribute your content to our show(s) and social media platforms as well. The ideal candidate will have sports knowledge and experience as a producer, videographer, and non-linear editor. Support the producer and line produce, when necessary. A strong knowledge of Cleveland sports and digital/social platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities:

•  Works with Producer on rundown and show prep for the show
•  Write scripts, research, and edit content as needed
•  Create content for social media platforms
•  Line-produce as needed
•  Propose original, timely, and innovative content ideas
•  The ability to multi-task and work effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment is essential
•  Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements:

•  Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience required
•  Experience with DSLR, Audio and video camera equipment a plus
•  Proven track record delivering compelling and promotable content
•  Strong knowledge of Cleveland sports and social media platforms is a plus
•  Strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task
•  Work under constant time-sensitive deadlines
