Job Description

The Associate Producer plays an important role in media management and editorial workflow support, and requires hands-on editing, familiarity with post production processes, and a technical understanding of file formats and specs.

RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS:
  • Setting up video project files:
  • Ingesting and organizing assets
  • Synching multiple cameras and audio
  • Pulling selects
  • Making stringouts of content
  • Assembling rough cuts
  • Selecting music options as needed
  • Review, log, and confirm all project assets are provided in the correct format
  • Manage organization and metadata tagging of media on the production server
  • Log and track all drives in production hard drive library
  • Post content for review by clients and creative teams
  • Prep video files for color and mix
  • Conform final deliverables from finished media
  • Work closely with distribution teams to traffic all broadcast, digital, and social deliverables – strong attention to detail and organization are imperative
  • Creating slates for all final deliverables and posting for Ad Standards review
  • Wrap projects files and prep files for archive
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1-2 years experience in fast paced production environment – experience in advertising and entertainment industries preferred
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative suite – knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro a must
  • Familiar with all relevant video formats and codecs
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Immaculate organizational skills required
  • Comfortable collaborating in a team environment and communicating clearly
  • Familiar with NBCUniversal portfolio of properties and brand aesthetic
Salary Range: $65,000-$70,000
