Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Associate Producers for World News with David Muir are responsible for supporting producers in all aspects of production – editorial and video research, writing, shooting, interviewing and basic editing.
- Associate Producers must also be able to work independently on stand-alone assignments including the World News Facecast, and Instant Index.
- Prior production experience and proven technical skills required.
- Creative, innovative approach important.
- Candidate must be willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends.
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong editorial and production skills, including prior news coverage experience
- Strong organizational skills and ability to perform duties under deadline
- Avid editing
- Camera and lighting - multiple formats
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to generate original story ideas and produce original stories for broadcast
- Desire to work in a collaborative, high pressure environment
Required Education:
- BA or equivalent work experience
