Job Description

The Associate Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the quality, schedule and scope of Costume Design projects by ensuring streamlined communication, product movement and process flow from concept design through implementation and closeout.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the project team with coordinating the various components of the costume design project lifecycle
  • Develops and maintains project lists, labor, budget & project trackers, shipping documents, and design input matrixes
  • Gather, organize, maintain, and distribute design documentation, presentations, strategies and communication
  • Prepares visually dynamic collateral and closeout documentation for appropriate archiving and Show Quality Standards use
  • Monitors meetings and other communications and provides updates as necessary in order to ensure proper integration and to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Directs own tasks under immediate supervision of Design and Development leadership
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year related experience Costuming or Fashion related field
  • Proven familiarity with Mac operating system
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite with a focus on Photoshop
  • Proven experience with graphic design and the ability to build visually dynamic design presentations
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to take direction, adapt to change, establish relationships, and collaborate in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate through conflict and problem-solve issues to resolution
  • Proven ability to work with various levels of leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year Walt Disney World experience
Required Education
  • High School Degree or Equivalent
Preferred Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Theater, Fashion, Merchandising, Graphic Design or Entertainment-related field
This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.
