Job Description
Intrepid Studios is looking for an Associate VFX Artist to work on our epic MMORPG. You will be creating particle effects such as explosions, water, smoke, magic, and fantasy themed art for the highly anticipated game Ashes of Creation. This is an entry level Visual Effects Artist position and training will be provided by a team of experienced award winning VFX artists.
Required:
Required:
- Must love video games
- Fluent in English
- Strong Art Skills
- Technical Mindset
- Some Photoshop knowledge
- Some 3D Art knowledge
- Able to legally work in California
- Available to work onsite daily from our office in San Diego, CA
Plusses:
- Video Game Industry Experience
- Unreal Engine Experience
- Experience working in Game Development
- Experience using Houdini, 3DS Max or similar program
- Love of MMORPG games such as World of Warcraft, Black Desert Online or Final Fantasy XIV
- 4 year college degree in a related field
- Scripting or coding experience
