Associate Video Producer

The Video Team is Square's in-house video production team. We partner with internal creatives, marketing and product teams, and external agencies and production teams to produce everything from emotional brand work to functional tutorial videos. You are looking for opportunities to learn and grow with our team.  The Associate Producer helps the Producer create remarkable video content for multiple distribution channels—on broadcast and digital platforms. Projects may range from large-scale live action to lean docu-style to animated and more. 

Qualifications 

You will:
• Assist the delivery of multiple projects at different stages of development from concept to completion.
• Assist production of commercial, educational and editorial content from development to delivery.
• Work with producers to build and manage project calendars and develop estimates
• Assist producers in evaluating outside production partners including directors, editors and other post production creatives.
• Assist producers in capturing and socializing partner needs in milestone meetings and reviews.
• Support producers by coordinating calls and documents to keep essential in-house teams and external partners aligned through the life of a project.
• Support communication with partners, creatives, and external partners.
• Support Producers and Video Team lead in documentation of process and development of team templates. 

You have:
• 2+ year's experience producing high-quality video content from pre-production to post.
• A working knowledge of production and the roles/responsibilities of production crew and post production personnel is a requirement. Experience reading and/or creating estimates and tracking expenses and actuals.
• Must be comfortable working in Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs, Calendar)
• Adept at building working relationships with internal and external people alike. 

Nice to have:
• Experience with Workfront
• Spreadsheet (excel or google sheets) proficiency including formatting and light formulas.
• Presentation (keynote or google presentation) proficiency including formatting and light design
• Any experience with Adobe Premiere, say to open a timeline and understand what it contains.
• Experience with Frame.io, uploading, organizing, sharing and/or feedback.
• Knowledge or experience with video localization
• Knowledge or experience with radio ad production
• Knowledge of animation workflows
