Job Description
This candidate will help bridge the editorial team with the AR design team to create successful AR scenes for our Broadcast and Streaming News division.
This position will require a creative problem-solver that can work well under pressure, while providing dynamic solutions to the daily production of live and pre-taped programming.
The ideal candidate must be a collaborative, detail-oriented individual with a strong design sense and exceptional storytelling abilities. Candidates should have strong communication skills, with the desire to learn, and share ideas with a group of creative individuals, as well as the confidence to drive effective and engaging on-air storytelling.

You have great communications skills that aid in building partnerships with stakeholders and have strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with Production, News Producers, and Designers, to service multiple news shows in the division.
- Facilitates and maintains smooth workflow and communication between the Art and News teams.
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and elevates creative output and visual storytelling.
- Takes initiative on projects and delivers innovative solutions for daily News shows, and special coverage.
- Identifies and pitches explainers for big daily news stories as well as longer-term enterprise stories that are highly promotable
- Analyzes data and turns it into visual stories.
- Adheres to brand guidelines, while pushing creative boundaries
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Journalism, Media Production or Graphic Design
- At least 5 years’ experience in a live broadcast environment, working in collaboration with a Creative/Art team preferred.
- Strong understanding of Augmented and Mixed Reality design, production, and workflow.
- Understanding of Immersive Data Storytelling.
- Is flexible, innovative, and forward-thinking.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment for multiple clients in the news division.
- Familiarity with and understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, After Effects, Cinema 4D, or other 3D tools.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish communication both written and oral.
