Cinematic Screenwriter
Summary
We are looking for a Cinematic Screenwriter to help write long, feature scripts at Barca Films. This person is someone who can help to come up with ideas, write dialogue, create characters and develop storylines that teach important lessons for all demographics. This individual will be able to write in a style that follows a certain formula which will enable us to garner billions of views within a short time period. Each video is around 20-180 minutes of length, involves many actors, minimal locations and is intended for social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube and Vimeo. Our Cinematic Screenwriter should be very open to feedback as they may be asked to rewrite or make various versions of the scripts they are working on.
Job Description
BIG PICTURE:
We are looking for a Cinematic Screenwriter to help write long, feature scripts at Barca Films. This person is someone who can help to come up with ideas, write dialogue, create characters and develop storylines that teach important lessons for all demographics. This individual will be able to write in a style that follows a certain formula which will enable us to garner billions of views within a short time period. Each video is around 20-180 minutes of length, involves many actors, minimal locations and is intended for social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube and Vimeo. Our Cinematic Screenwriter should be very open to feedback as they may be asked to rewrite or make various versions of the scripts they are working on.
Collaborate with production team to make sure scripts have a strong moral, resonate with our target audience and have minimal production complexities
Analyze the performance of videos and make necessary adjustments to continuously improve scripts
Come up with 5-10 new ideas a week and write 2-4 scripts each week that are around 20 pages long
Ability to write for all audiences.
Strong organizational and communication skills
Strong writing talent, as well as creativity, patience, self-motivation, and an understanding of the film-making process
Possess the ability to work and collaborate with others
Contract length: 12 months
