Job Description

The Ad Operations Manager will mentor and develop our team of campaign managers, help manage our ad technology stack and work closely with development to ensure a seamless ad experience on our websites and apps.

The Ad Operations Manager will be responsible for:
  • Managing and mentoring a team of campaign managers responsible for executing digital advertising campaigns
  • Overseeing inventory and yield management
  • Owning relationships with Google Ad Manager and the other ad technology vendors we use
  • Overseeing and implementing new ad technology to target new + improve existing revenue streams
  • Building and refining process to improve campaign fulfillment and minimize rate of errors, creating a more efficient and effective digital advertising business
  • Monthly reconciliation, aligning booked and delivered revenue and services rendered
  • Reviewing and approving partner invoices on a monthly basis
  • Collaborating with internal and external technology teams on ad taxonomy and technology on owned and operated properties

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of advertising operations experience in a digital agency, media company or consultancy
  • Experience using Google Ad Manager; familiarity with other digital advertising tactics, including programmatic advertising
  • Experience using Wide Orbit and familiarity with Google Analytics is a plus
  • Experience leading a team
  • A positive attitude with outstanding communication and time management skills
  • Skilled at training and teaching
  • Experience managing complex fulfillment processes and operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel/spreadsheets and comfortable learning new software as needed, including our internal project management system (ClickUp)
