Job Description

The primary function of this role is to collaborate with marketing, content and sales to design and execute compelling, audience-centric marketing campaigns that attract, convert and retain audiences to our core digital products.  
  • Develop promotional campaigns that grow audience around our products, including content series and verticals, newsletters and apps. 
  • Design assets for digital promotional campaigns and collaborate with other designers.
  • Write promotional copy for our websites, apps, contests, social, display/video ads and more that drive conversions. 
  • Monitor performance and analyze data around promotional campaigns and make recommendations on relevant strategies and techniques that will improve results. 
  • Create and share performance recaps to internal staff on key promotional campaigns that contextualize data and highlight best practices.
  • Use project management and scheduling tools to manage, activate and measure results for multiple campaigns simultaneously. Must be process oriented, but able to continuously adapt.
  • Manage digital promotional calendar and keep assets up to date, including identifying opportunities for refreshing and improving effectiveness.
  • Develop and communicate branding standards for digital verticals to maintain consistency.
  • Collaborate with our marketing counterparts and community partners to execute and communicate results around digital promotional campaigns.
  • Seek new tactics to grow audience outside of current strategies. 
  • Respond to audience inquiries and provide customer service around contests and other initiatives as needed. 
Requirements 
  • At least four years’ experience in media, digital marketing and/or project management.
  • Bachelor’s degree and pre-employment drug screening are required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to support the significant amount of writing and presenting/selling ideas in this role.
  • Prefer working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity. Role is based in Raleigh, NC.
  • Able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Professional experience with graphic using Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Analytics, email marketing tools, basic HTML, Meta advertising and Microsoft Office suite. 
  • Bonus points for experience with Adobe Premiere, Wide Orbit, photography, videography, Second Street and familiarity with Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Fayetteville and surrounding areas.
