Purpose:
Our client, a studio, is seeking a talented, enthusiastic, and highly organized Recruiter with experience in identifying future hiring needs, designing job descriptions, sourcing candidates through databases and social media, conducting interviews, filing documents related to candidates, and keeping up to date on employment law and legislation. The Recruiter should have excellent interpersonal skills, organized and detail-oriented, and stay informed on company hiring and internship programs. This is a remote-work opportunity.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Post job placements on the various platforms approved by the specific unit and ensure promotion of the job ad is consistent.
  • Screen applications and select qualified candidates; collaborate with hiring manager to ensure selected candidates meet the hiring criteria.
  • Assist with interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or human resources during offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates and other pertinent details.
  • Promote the company’s reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity by highlighting the company’s features, benefits, perks, etc.…
  • Provide weekly recruitment report to department heads and manager for all open and requested positions for each unit
  • Assist with the creation of internship programs in conjunction with the Training & Development Specialist.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and company policies.
  • Attend and participate in college job fairs and recruiting sessions. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Position Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent with time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring department.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment software.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suites.
