Job Description

Overview & Responsibilities:

Awards Entries
  • Gather assets such as headshots, episode links, episodic photos, title treatments, key art and email addresses for awards submissions
  • Interact with publicists, agents, and showrunners to communicate awards submissions strategy; handle intricate award submissions and entries from start to finish
Events
  • Help manage all logistical aspects of award panels including catering, theater booking, panelist travel, video materials, invitations, signage, RSVP lists and VIP ticket purchases
  • Help coordinate For Your Consideration virtual and live event logistics including panel discussions, screenings and receptions
  • Provide coverage of virtual and in-person events as needed
  • Handle arrangements for hair, make-up, glam “deal memos” for live, in-person events
Administration
  • Organize and update vital documents for the Awards Department, including our eligibility tracker for all of our programming, cast lists, crew sheets and more
  • Maintain the annual awards' calendar to make sure all of our submissions are completed before their deadlines
Operations
  • Manage project budgets and oversee the financial process of check requests, invoices and purchase orders. Ensure our vendors are paid by their deadlines
  • Help complete monthly estimates and accruals, reconcile debits, credits and line items. Work with internal Finance department
  • Create ceremony actuals for studio partners, invoice partners for contribution, follow up for payment
  • Complete post-event budget wrap-ups
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years related experience preferred
  • Knowledge of awards and film festival landscape and proficiency in award rules and procedures a plus
Additional Qualifications:
  • Strong organization skills and expert multi-tasker; detail oriented
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • Must be collaborative, resourceful and well-poised under pressure
