Job Description

The role sits within the Scripted Studio in the UK and you will reporting into the Head of Content, who reports into the President of Broadcast and Studios Internationally.

The Creative Coordinator will work closely with the Head of Europe and the team to support the managing of the development slate as well as general development duties in order to maintain an efficient running of the department across Europe.

What will you be doing?
  • Working closely with the Creative Directors across the UK and Europe and the Paramount+ teams Internationally
  • Maintaining an up-to-date version of the development slate document for Europe, as well as PowerPoint presentations and other documents related to the development slate.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date database of script submissions and facilitating the reading and feedback process, as well as reading scripts where required.
  • Working with the production finance team for Europe and setting up an invoice process and setting up new vendors on the system
  • Maintaining the content of documents on shared files.
  • Attending meetings where required to take creative notes and write them up into a digestible format.  
  • Proofreading scripts and documents.
  • Working with the team to maintain the smooth and efficient running of the European department, including e.g. printing, ordering stationery, raising IT issues, processing expenses etc.
What are we looking for?
  • A passion for scripted television with a demonstrable interest in literature, theatre and film
  • Experience of working in a similar role in development and /or admin
  • Knowledge of the development and production process and ability to implement the skills and support required at each individual stage
  • Ability to demonstrate sound editorial judgement and sensitivity, both verbally and on paper
  • Strong attention to detail, high standard of literacy, and ability to reliably proofread
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised, exercising initiative and assessing priorities but referring issues upwards where appropriate
  • Ability to work as part of a team providing support and assistance as required
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite  
  • Highly self-motivated and enthusiastic team player with resilience to pressured environments and able to react and adapt flexibly
  • An ambition to learn and develop career skills, abilities, and experience     
  • Being fluent in a foreign language such as French, Italian or German a benefit
  • Willingness to travel to Europe when required
