Duties and Responsibilities:
- An ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, a strong understanding of SEO and be able to work under tight deadlines.
- Producer will be in charge of creating content that resonates with digital audiences on KTVU’s digital and social media platforms.
- Must be skilled in content creation and analytics software.
- Candidate will work collaboratively with digital team, newsroom and Fox owned local stations to generate original story ideas and content.
- Knowledge of local television newsroom operations a plus.
- Other duties assigned as deemed appropriate and necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma is required;
- 4-year College degree is preferred.
- Candidate should have at least 3 years in news or digital content production.
- A strong technical understanding of new technology is also required.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
