Job Description

Our Digital Film Program is an Associates and Bachelors Degree program that runs for three 15-week semesters per year. Each course usually meets twice per week for 7.5 weeks.

We are specifically seeking Digital Film instructors who can teach one or more of the following disciplines:

Camera and Lighting
Cinematography
Production Audio and Audio Post Production
Producing
Nonfiction Production and Post Production
Visual Effects for Film
Editing and Post Production
Successful candidates will step into an existing curriculum and contribute to delivering high-quality education in these areas. SAE Expression is a multi-disciplinary creative arts college delivering programs in Animation & Visual Effects, Audio, Entertainment Business, and Game Development in addition to our Digital Film program. Our campus is a vibrant and creative facility, and our students and faculty are equally vibrant and creative.

Duties for Digital Film Instructors at SAE Expression College include:

Provide education that aligns with the SAE model of curricula and delivery.
Establish a classroom environment conducive to student engagement and learning.
Manage the learning environment by maintaining accurate records, submitting grades and other reports on time, and enforcing college policies and procedures.
Develop instructional plans to meet course competencies and develop course activities that support lesson objectives.
Effectively plan and prepare for classes and student success.
Abide by all SAE Expression policies and procedures.

Digital Film Instructor Job Type: Part Time

Digital Film Instructor Qualifications:

Masters Degree
4 years of professional experience in the creative, technical and/or entertainment field related to the area of teaching.
Experience with teaching in a college setting is preferred.
