- Assist producers with all aspects of news gathering and production, including on-air segments
- Build story proposal lists and elements
- Assist with delivery of show production elements/rundowns, etc.
- Running scripts and lineups
- Travel on story shoots
- Opportunities for story writing/editing available and encouraged
- Opportunities for pitching and producing segments for air

- AVID editing experience preferred, but not mandatory
*TO BE QUALIFIED, YOU MUST BE WILLING TO WORK A REGULAR OVERNIGHT SHIFT (IN PERSON SOME DAYS) FROM 9PM – 5AM, SUNDAY-THURSDAY*

- College Senior, Graduate School Journalism student or recent graduate
- Major or previous coursework in journalism
- Previous experience (academic or internship) in television, news & new media production
- Previous experience (academic or internship) writing news stories for publication
- Strong proficiency in non-linear video editing software
- Previous internship experience in professional newsroom
Additional Information:
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
- Must be at least 18 years old
- At the time of application, must currently be enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class – OR – be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last 6 months - OR - be currently participating in the Disney College Program, or Disney Professional Internship Program
- Must be willing to relocate to the New York City area and provide your own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship
- Must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
Program Dates
- Must be available from May/June 2022 through January 2023
- Must be willing to work 40 hours/week- OVERNIGHT SHIFTS. Shifts typically are 9pm-5am. Intern could work a couple days in the office and a couple days remotely.
