We at Barca Films are looking for new candidates for our Executive Creative Director positions here in Atlanta, GA. We have lots of both content being created and talent that needs to be supervised.

The executive creative director guides all film projects and is responsible for the overall quality of work produced by the creative department. Here is a list of duties are as follows:

Creative directors will be found at the forefront of any film production.
Many creative producers work independently and work with independent writers, producers and directors.
They normally start with a script they believe in and then sell the idea of the film to a producer who can help with financing and distribution connections.
Creative directors help with the choice of directors and then collaborate on the hiring of actors and crew.
Develop with writers a script idea that can be produced into film
Work very closely with a writer or writers to polish or rewrite a script
Hire a director and work with him or her to strategize bringing the film to life
Negotiate the hiring of talent in front of and behind the cameras
Negotiate showings in festivals and competitions
Collaborate with screenwriting team to make sure scripts have a strong moral, resonate with our target audience and have minimal production complexities
Analyze the performance of videos and make necessary adjustments to continuously improve scripts
Good knowledge of creative production
Strong organizational and communication skills
Possess the ability to work and collaborate with others
Manage the creative process from concept to completion
Translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies
Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams.
Lead and direct the creative team in the production of all marketing collateral
Ensure visual communication and brand standards are met
Oversee client pitches and proposals
Oversee profitability, deliverables, timelines and budgets
Meet with clients or upper management to explain campaign strategies and solutions
Review work, troubleshoot and provide feedback to creative teams
Remain actively involved in hiring and training creative staff
Manage and cultivate the career development of staff members, including designers, art directors, copywriters, photographers and web developers

Contract length: 12 months

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Commission

Pay: $46,937.00 - $200,000.00 per year

Experience: filmmaking: 1 year (Preferred)
