We are looking for a Costume Specialist Senior to support our Creative Costuming department! This role supports the Audio-Animatronic Ride Crew and the Disney Character Event group.

Job Description

The Audio-Animatronic Crew will be based out of Epcot and will support the unique costuming needs for the Audio-Animatronic figures located across property. You will conduct attraction walk-throughs, take on-site documentation photographs, and perform minor repairs and partial to full re-dressing of the figures.

The starting pay rate for this role is $15.00.

  • Work with fabric chemicals and costumes made of fur, polyester, and various fabric blends
  • Continual lifting, lowering, and sliding of boxes and containers and repetitively climb ladders and stairs
  • Perform Attraction walk-throughs
  • Taking on-site documentation photos
  • Perform minor repairs
  • Partial to full re-dressings of figures
  • Take inventory
  • Ensure costume show quality
  • Handle various chemicals related to hard-lines repairs
  • Push, pull and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Read information on a 2 ½” screen
  • Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required
  • Cast members may be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies
Basic Qualifications:
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess valid US Driver’s license
  • Receptive to early morning hours
  • Willing to drive company vehicles, including box trucks, SUVs & multi-passenger vans: be able and a manual transmission
  • Willing to be trained, certified and operate heavy equipment such as a Roll Loader, Forklift, Scissor Lift, and WAVe lift
  • Climb multiple ladders & staircases per shift
  • Work at elevations up to 30 feet
  • Walk long distances, as well as walk or climb on uneven surfaces
  • Complete regulatory training

Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
