Summary

Job Summary: Oversees video production for iHeartMedia Los Angeles. The Video Production Manager will lead the iHeartMedia Los Angeles video department focusing on digital video production, editorial content, and social media video engagement. Reporting to the Digital Program Director, this candidate must be a proactive, creative individual who possesses the ability to adapt to multiple situations and surroundings in a fast-paced environment. The Video Production Manager will have a hands-on role with video production from concept generation through completion for the 8-station cluster of radio station websites. This candidate must have expertise and experience in camera operation, directing, editing, lighting, sound recording, live streaming, and the ability to handle a video shoot alone as well as collaborate with a team. The ideal candidate must pay attention to detail, possess solid communication and organizational skills, while staying a highly motivated creative thinker.

Job Description

Main Responsibilities and Expectations:

Play a part in all aspects of video content including pre-production, scripts, production, and post-production.
Maintain a video production schedule and log of completed work.
Organize digital video assets in iHeartMedia admin system.
Manage a team of video producers to deliver high-quality digital video products.
Single-camera and multi-camera operating during on-location shoots and controlled in-studio environments.
Directing and capturing multi-camera, live-streamed content, as well as working with OBS, Streamyard, Zoom, Facebook Live, YouTube Live & Twitch.
Stay current on video software, technology, and industry trends; make recommendations on ways to continually innovate.
Proficient in writing socially engaging content that contributes to radio station websites and social media.
Highly creative, have high-level production skills, and have a proven track record in delivering videos for use across multiple platforms.
Fantastic communication skills are key to this role as well as the ability to collaborate with multiple departments and personnel within the company.
Ability to meet deadlines working in a fast-paced and changing environment and able to work on multiple projects, in various stages of production, simultaneously.
Integrity, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail a must.
 
Qualifications:

Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in all aspects of video production; camera operating, non-linear editing, audio recording, color grading, chroma-keying, motion graphics, live streaming etc.
Strong working knowledge of DLSR and mirror less cameras, lighting equipment, audio equipment, streaming equipment, and other related accessories.
Must have extensive knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder & Photoshop.
Must have experience with social media and managing video distribution for YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram (Main Feed, Live, Reels & IGTV), Twitch, TikTok, etc.
Strong familiarity with video codecs, frame rates, aspect ratios, and technical specs.
Passion for music, popular culture, and broadcast media.
Comfortable with computer technologies including web content management systems and streaming media.
Candidates should submit a portfolio/reel for review.
