The Social Media Coordinator will assist in the creation, edit written, video and photo content while maintaining the brand across social media channels.

Duties Include:

●      Supporting team daily, to ensure all deliverables are provided, timelines are met, and outcomes are reached
●      Assist with drafting digital strategy memos, project briefs and plans, with supervision
●      Assist in the management of digital campaigns, content creation, editorial calendars and report results, with supervision
●      Other special content creation as needed, including covering live events on occasion.
●      Posting content, responding to comments, programming emails, and writing copy for websites and longform content
●      Working within news and pop-culture cycles and occasionally adjusting work hours for events

Skills Needed for Success

●      1 to 3 years of experience creating digital content, including content for major social media channels like Instagram, Twitter, and other platforms for a brand or nonprofit organization
●      Ability to learn quickly, maintain focus, and support leadership with needed tasks
●      A passion for working with historically underrepresented populations and causes that impact the world. You are equity and justice focused on your beliefs.
 

Nice to Have

●      Graphic Design experience

●      Video recording and editing experience

●      Experience with email and CRM system management such as ActBlue, NGP tools, Mailchimp, Action Kit, Salsa, and others

●      Some coding experience

●      Experience using Wordpress, Wix, or Squarespace
