Job Description
The Daily
- Organization and distribution of all server content used for recording.
- Checking the video and audio quality of content during live and recorded programming, setting up records of incoming feeds and editing show content.
- Knowledge of all broadcast equipment and technology as assigned, including but not limited to, high-definition operations, tape deck operations and duplication of content, broadcast routers, intercoms, content and media movement, content management, server-based recordings/playback devices, and server networking.
- Understanding of post-production workflows and environment.
- Understanding and basic experience of control room operator roles including but not limited to Robotic Camera Control, Playback, Prompter operation
- Knowledge of offloading drives and media cards.
- Organizational and multitasking skills are required.
- Understanding complex information and disseminating it to proper personnel.
- Seeking out information regarding the workflow of other business units, including their impact with the Media Team.
- Problem solving, troubleshooting and effective communication to best convey any issues needing resolution.
- Ability to work independently and manage simultaneous projects.
The Essentials
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications.
- Familiar with basics of video, audio, and broadcast technology.
- Must have strong communication and organization skills and great attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
- Awareness of Bleacher Report’s voice + extensive knowledge of digital sports culture.
- A minimum of 2 years practical TV production or related experience.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills are a necessity.
- Ability to work as a part of a team dynamic.
- Must be willing and able to adapt to constantly changing environment.
