Job Description
This role reports into the VP of Communications, TV, New Media, and Family Entertainment.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all necessary communications documents (Campaign Highlights Report, Talent/Filmmaker schedules, etc.) are maintained and distributed in a timely manner with key executives.
- Logistic support and outreach with press and internal teams for junkets and press events.
- Cover talent appearances, work events and premieres.
- Manage special projects as requested by Title Lead (i.e., activations).
- Oversee VFX Vendor requests (shared with Coordinator)
- Collaborate with writer on talent Talking Points, review and approve all Written Material working with Title Lead.
- Handle below the line talent for Live Action and Hometown Heroes for Animation as needed.
- Work with Coordinator to spearhead across each department, ensuring all info is populated in a timely manner
- Work with International Publicist
- Support with updating international schedules when requested.
- Help with interviews requests/LL Phoner grid.
- Assist with collating talent entourage and cost estimates for Int’l Publicist to communicate to markets.
- Support with int’l press breaks/reviews/quotes/reactions as needed leading into a campaign release
- Assist and provide backup to Talent Publicist on most aspects of a campaign including:
- Support with talent schedules as needed (also shared with Coordinator).
- Assist with collating talent entourage and cost estimates and pulling together into one document.
- Handle BTL talent for Live Action and Hometown Heroes for Animation as needed.
- Obtain BTL headshots when requested
- Reach out to Production for BTL crew list – discuss with Title Lead who to connect with from Production
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a publicity role
- Media, entertainment industry experience is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Resourceful and can multi-task
- Excellent organizational skills
Additional Information:
This is a UNION LOCAL 600 position covered by a collective bargaining agreement
