Job Description
This position is temporary, ending in December 2021. The selected candidate will teach four courses that could include TV production and editing, scriptwriting, audio and sound design, layout and design, speech for multimedia, documentary, African American in the media, among other courses.

- help produce a student newscast
- serve as a faculty mentor to students
- participate in departmental, college, and university committees
- support efforts that aid the accreditation from the Accrediting Council on Eductaion in Journalism and Mass Communications (ACEJMC)
- display collegiality
Required Qualifications
The qualified applicant is required to hold a MA or MFA in media production or related field (TV, film, or multimedia communication). Industry experience is also desired. The ideal candidate must be a good video editor, director, and producer, stay current with cutting-edge technology, and be proficient in the following software or equivalent: Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
Preferred Qualifications
College teaching experience.
