Job Description

Under direction of the Head of Broadcast Operations; responsibilities include creating daily broadcast logs including the scheduling of commercials, on-air promotions, and programming so that the broadcast transmission has continuity. Oversee live game affiliate bridge to ensure affiliates are properly alerted of local insertion cues assist in technical troubleshooting as required. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders consisting of advertisers, internal engineers, legal dept., 3rd party vendors and senior management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees technical operations of the AMB broadcasts.
• Create daily broadcast logs in Amagi.
• Maintains logs; oversees technical quality of video and audio signals within Federal Communications Commission (F.C.C.) specifications; inventories technical equipment.
• Coordinate with multiple internal and external parties pursuant to on time delivery of broadcast elements and integrity of broadcast feeds linear and digital.
• Sets up live game feeds within Amagi as well as schedule satellite time with 3rd party vendors.
• Check monitors and ensures stability of broadcast feeds and software.
• Prepares and maintains a variety of records and reports.
• Coordinate and manage affiliate onboarding procedures.
• Coordinates with program scheduler, crews of independent contractors and other staff as required.
• Coordinates deliveries of LIVE programs through post production life cycle and next day air broadcasters.
• Monitors equipment/software operations to ensure conformance with federal standards; makes necessary adjustments; takes and records periodic equipment reading; logs operations.
• Performs other related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in electronics, computer science or a related field and two (2) years of related work experience, including specialized training with equipment related to that used in TV, Radio, and cable facilities; or an equivalent combination of training and qualifying experience that could likely provide the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
