Job Description

This role will collaborate with creatives, create and track budgets, develop production plans, source production teams and crew and assist with wrap audits.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a project plan that aligns with key show calendar dates, creative and deliverables
  • Create and track budgets and expenses, ensuring productions are remaining on budget
  • Source and hire production teams, crew, equipment, and services
  • Act as liaison between creatives and production crew vendors, ensuring content is on-brand, highly creative, maintains a proper network voice, and deliverables are met
  • Oversee editorial, color correction, and other post elements
  • Perform audits on all wraps from third party production companies to certify all guideline obligations have been met, expenses are legitimate and reasonable, and necessary paperwork and backup is present and accurate for final payment
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of production experience at a broadcast entertainment or production company
  • Must have experience in physical production of promos and/or commercials
  • Frequent travel required
  • Must have a deep understanding of production and post-production processes
  • Must have knowledge of production budgeting processes, performance guilds, casting process, still photographic shoot production, art direction, art history, and special effects
  • Must be proactive and able to communicate effectively to team members, vendors and executives
  • Excellent writing skills and editorial judgement
  • Must be organized, autonomous, decisive and able to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Must be well-informed on current trends in competitive advertising, design and the marketplace
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe CS, QuickTime, and budgeting software
