Job Description

Tasks include but not limited to organizing and managing schedules and workflows of the video production staff (producers, videographers, editors, production assistants and freelancers) in support of consistent content creation for Raiders media platforms (e.g., broadcast, website, social, in-stadium, etc.). This position requires a highly communicative and organized individual able to help with all stages of production from pre pro through delivery. This individual should be able to work closely with outside vendors and other departments in the Raiders organization to execute visions, concepts, and directives from Raiders executives. The Manager of Video Production will assess the quality and creativity expected from this Emmy-Award winning team while being able to adhere to tight deadlines and policies. 

Essential Job Functions 
  • Recruit, hire, train and manage a team of video production professionals to ensure all duties and goals are correctly executed
  • Responsible for year-round quality control and approval of video content for Raiders.com, social media platforms, sponsorship, and community related live event activations
  • Organize production schedules, call sheets, location scouting and approvals, equipment rentals, etc., for year-round video production coverage of all NFL tentpole events; Super Bowl, Pro Bowl, Combine, Draft, Mini-Camp, Training Camp, etc., in addition to all organizational events during a calendar year
  • Create concepts with storyboards, references, script writing and sample videos as needed  
  • Experience working with local and national talent and sports figures and adhering to confidentiality
  • Motivate, inspire, and mentor the production team to continue learning and growing as new trends in the industry emerge
  • Provide consistent feedback and guidance for members of the video production team  
  • Determine proper guidelines and ensure adherence to rules and regulations around broadcast and media licensing are understood and followed  
  • Collaborate with various departments within the organization to develop content ideas, execute videos and/or series, determine best delivery methods, platforms, and deadlines  
  • Facilitate meetings to brainstorm and generate new content ideas 
  • Exercise independent judgment to execute time-sensitive decisions that impact the video production of the Raiders organization  
  • Collaborate with Social Media Manager to ensure that video content created for and published to the team’s social platforms is timely, compelling and of high quality  
  • Collaborate with Sr. Producer of Live Programming on generating video content for live programs, script writing, and editing as needed
  • Collaborate with Director of Game Entertainment Pres on generating in-stadium and live event video content 
  • Attend regularly scheduled meetings with various departments at Raiders HQ and at Allegiant Stadium
  • All other duties as assigned  
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.  Degree in Film/Communications/Art/Journalism preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in the video production field required
  • 3+ years of management experience of a video production team required
  • Strong leadership, organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail  
  • Vast knowledge of video production and post-production, including lighting, shooting and editing  
  • Expert level experience with Adobe Cloud suite  
  • Must be familiar with various methods of file sharing 
  • Ability to work independently without supervision  
  • Must be self-directed and demonstrate initiative  
  • General understanding of NFL rules, teams, players and culture 
  • Must be able to travel and work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays   
Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):
  • Sitting and/or standing for long periods of time throughout shift 
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50lbs
  • Occasional bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
