Job Description

You will work closely with and take direction from the Principal Music Producer and the Music Producers.

You will report to a Music Producer.

Responsibilities:
  • Support Disneyland Music Producers by performing day-to-day tasks for Disney Live Entertainment's production of multiple projects
  • Support pre-production, production, and post-production for recorded projects, including Pro Tools prep, creating click tracks and creating/managing templates
  • Organize and manage Production Recording sessions (inclusive of comp and lead sheets, staff tracking, room logistics, etc.)
  • Help with music prep for live ensembles and special events
  • Prepare and submit cue sheets for our shows
  • Coordinate Voice Over Recording requests and ensure accuracy of all scripts
  • Maintain the Disneyland Music Library
  • Maintain the Principal Music Producer's calendar and coordinate all Music Department meetings
  • Partner and facilitate with the Walt Disney Music and Legal group for music clearance requests and contract payments
  • Track invoices, payments, and milestones concerning project budgets with the Accounts Payable team and our multiple vendors
  • Manage expense reports, and maintain accurate project files and archive for all projects
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years relevant music industry experience
  • Experience with Finale notation software and Pro Tools
  • Administrative experience handling multiple vendors while supporting artists
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Understanding of music production, comp and lead sheets, clearances, and budgets
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Clear and concise verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to work seamlessly with a team
  • Professional discretion
  • Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment and reprioritize as necessary
  • Initiative to work proactively with limited
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in unions (SAG/AFM)
  • Experience with Smartsheet, PowerPoint, and Google Docs
Required Education
BA or BS preferred in music or a related field, or relevant experience
