Job Summary/Description:

News 4, the market's top local news brand, needs a smart, creative News Producer to help us connect with audiences across a variety of broadcast and digital platforms. This position will architect top-rated newscasts for television daily, while providing positive newsroom leadership. Your writing and news judgment will play a pivotal role in each day's plan to keep the Wiregrass audience informed, prepared and connected to the latest events in their community, state, country and world. Your ability to adapt to new technology and industry innovation will be a necessary contribution.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:

◽ Primary responsibilities include writing, producing and boothing selected newscast. This position requires:
◽ Outstanding journalism skills
◽ Critical thinking ability
◽ Strong writing and editing
◽ Solid news judgment
◽ Ability to handle press and meet deadlines
◽ Ability to work collaboratively with the news team and other departments

Qualifications/Requirements:

◽ College degree in journalism, communications or other relevant major
◽ Experience with ENPS and Edius, a plus
