Job Description
The Senior Designer will be responsible for the development, creation and maintenance of all templated, real-time graphics.
- Will need to bring compelling design ideas to the table, as well as have the ability to reproduce an artists vision, without compromise, in real-time broadcast software
- Must have a mastery of Ross Xpression and a high level of understanding and skill in VB scripting, as well as Ross’s Visual Logic macro engine.
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically After Effects, Photoshop, etc.)
- Ability to create Xpression content for full suite of Ross products including, but not limited to, Maps, Touch Screen, Streamline Order and Asset Manager and Incoder.
- Will assist with implementation and support for all on-air graphic workflows.. i.e MOS, Xpression Plugin, overall systems supervision.
- Has or obtains expert-level knowledge of Ross Tessera automation system and implements multi-screen graphics looks choreographed with moving set elements
- Responsible for creative and technical coordination between graphics designers, news producers, on-air graphics operators and other control room staff to ensure proper on-air execution of all design elements
- Establishes creative and technical workflows for fast, accurate graphics creation utilizing all elements of our state-of-the-art sets
Position can be remote, but will include periodic travel.
