Job Description
Previous props construction experience is required. Properties Artisans build props as assigned by the Props Manager.
Some responsibilities include building props from approved designs in various media, assisting in the estimation of materials, researching materials and techniques, repairing or restoring items as needed, responding to notes on projects in rehearsal, working on load-ins and strikes, and building road boxes for storage.
This position is expected to periodically work nights and weekends as determined by the Prop Manager. Physical requirements include repetitive motion, bending, twisting, lifting, stooping, pushing, and operating moving machinery.
Housing is available.
