Job Summary/Description:

This is a full-time position primarily responsible for editing content for newscasts but will also be expected to assist with other news-related duties including ENG operations, videography and helicopter camera operation. This is a weekend overnight position ideal for a talented visual storyteller looking for a foot in the door.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:

- Edit video for broadcast, streaming and digital/ social platforms
- Set up and execute live shots per shift
- Gather video in the field for broadcast, streaming and digital/ social platforms
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Non-linear editing experience required
- Experience with ENPS and BitCentral systems a plus
- Photojournalism experience preferred
- Must work well under pressure and meet daily deadlines
- Candidate should have good communication skills, experience and/or coursework in journalism
- Must be independent and self-sufficient and work well with a team
- News is a 24/7 industry requiring schedule flexibility- this is a weekend overnight position and schedule will include working holidays
