Job Summary

The Clayton State University Department of Visual and Performing Arts seeks a continuing part-time instructor to teach courses in Film Studies beginning in the Spring 2021 semester, with a focus on Latin American Cinema and/or Global Cinemas. Responsibilities include teaching one or two upper-division electives in these areas, or one upper-division elective and one lower-division History of Cinema course. Ph.D. preferred, ABD considered. The start date for this position is January 9, 2021.

The Department of Visual and Performing Arts offers undergraduate degrees and minors in Communication and Media Studies, Film Production, Music, Music Education, and Theatre, and minor programs in Art, Corporate Communication, and Film.
