Summary

As the Imaging Studio Producer you will be responsible for supervising the coordination of all aspects of studio production including but not limited to – executing on goals and messaging, researching projects, obtaining approvals and legal clearances, booking talent, location scouting, locating existing assets, and negotiating budgets.

Job Description

You will work with multiple team members and cross functional partners including the studio traffic team, art directors, stylists, photographers, project leads, requestors, merchants, etc. The Studio Producer will be responsible for leading crews, directing talent, planning schedules, logging material, planning edits, organizing post-production image assets, seeking sign-off and taking/acting upon notes/feedback. They will manage and lead team members as needed.

Produce Creative product photography for all HSN platforms and all categories that adhere to specific standards on product detail, lighting, styling and photography guidelines.

Your Impact
  • Oversee prep, scheduling, and execution of all aspects of studio production.
  • Establishes and implements processes to ensure projects are delivered on time, and within budget, while adhering to HSN Brand Standards.
  • Meets and communicates with requestors as necessary to gain information about and/or discuss creative concepts and business objectives with a customer first lens.
  • Drives progress, creates execution standards and ensures compliance
  • Creatively problem-solve and troubleshoot issues within the studio while remaining calm under pressure
  • Build strong cross functional relationships across the organization, internally and externally
  • Limits reshoots and reduce costs by sticking to processes and holding responsible parties accountable
  • Promote efficiency and ensure daily goals are met
  • Works closely with Operations Manager to ensure personnel and timelines meet the proper approvals and deadlines.
  • Manage studio Cost Center purchases and administrative budgeting
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to build diverse catalog of talent/ freelance pool

  • Hands-on in studio and remote experience is vital
  • Strong ability to communicate ideas and influence across all departments, e.g. crew, production, team and leadership
  • Must be able to multi-task and manage their own schedule, frequently overseeing multiple jobs at various stages of production
  • Strong ability to articulate a clear vision for projects and collaborate with requesters to help identify and define their needs
  • Position requires adaptability, understanding what works for multiple platforms
  • Understanding of post-production practices
  • Ability to lead a team and drive results that support the business and both our internal and external customers
  • Bachelors’ degree in Marketing, Communications, Photography or related field in the production industry, or related working experience
  • A minimum of 4 years of work experience in digital photo and video production
  • 3 yrs experience producing in a photo studio environment as well as an understanding of production.
  • Knowledge of marketing channels.
  • Some familiarity with using Photoshop, Capture One
