Job Description
These services will encompass Quality Control and Standards and Practices, media prep and content ingest, shortform QC delivery tasks, as well as administrative functions for the Post Production Department.
- Editorial project prep
- Work with Avid Media Composer, DVS, Iris, and other editing platforms
- Read audio/video scopes
- Perform the service of technical and S&P screening
- Maintain detailed records of both technical and S&P issues while screening content and communicate on issues with the network Program Operations
- Provide support for Program Operations as related to content for Quality Control screening
- Review daily schedules and coordinate with Program Operations regarding screening-based on-air priorities
- Perform the technical service of QC screening as per the outlined network specifications
- QC for shortform assets and move them to RFA/delivery hot folders
- Close captioning and V-Chip encoding
- Record feeds
- Ensure client satisfaction
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in post-production or knowledge of editing and QC screening
- Ability to read audio/video scopes
- Working knowledge of video/audio codecs, file formats, and resolutions
- Knowledgeable in all Microsoft Office applications
- Must be willing to work in Englewood Cliffs, NJ
- Must have a flexible work schedule, including availability to work days, nights, and weekends, as well as work overtime and/or on holidays if need be
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience working with Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop and DVS
- Extremely Organized
- Bilingual: Spanish/English PREFFERRED
- Excellent communication skills
- Work independently
- Ability to prioritize work load and work under pressure
- Ability to train others
