Your New Role...

▪Candidates should possess a commanding knowledge of current events and have the ability to build compelling rundowns to tell those stories. 
▪A Producer 2 should be comfortable leading show teams and show meetings. 
▪They must work well with managers to deliver coverage that best showcases the network’s priorities.

Your Role Accountabilities...

▪A Producer 2 will liaise with supervisors, anchors and newsgathering colleagues to deliver strong, live newscasts. 
▪They should be across key video and sound to call elements during shows; work with guest planners on focused segments; coordinate with copy editors on writing assignments; have a keen sense of show time, and demonstrate responsibility in placing sponsored content where required. 
▪A Producer 2 must be comfortable working in high-pressure breaking news situations and demonstrate proficiency in communicating with their anchor and team during such events. 

Qualifications & Experience...

▪Producer 2 candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience line-producing network programming and must have demonstrated the ability to build thoughtful rundowns independently. 
▪Candidates also must have the ability to write copy quickly and have a strong knowledge of font codes and procedures. 
▪Candidates should possess a demonstrated interest in international news. 
▪Must be willing to work any shift including weekends and overnights.
