Job Description

Responsibilities will include:
  • Edit various unscripted and scripted projects including full episodic shows- both long-form and shortform, and promos;
  • Incorporate graphics and audio;
  • Ensure quality and integrity of final delivered assets for broadcast;
  • Organize assets into asset management tool (training will be provided); ensuring it is properly labeled, stored, media-managed and archived
  • Handle special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Minimum Qual Requirements

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college with courses in radio/TV broadcasting, including production, direction and writing of programs; or
2. A high school diploma or its educational equivalent and two years of
experience in radio or TV broadcasting including writing, directing, producing and tape work; or
3. A satisfactory equivalent, but all candidates must have a high school diploma or its educational equivalent.

Preferred Skills
  • The preferred candidate should possess the following:
  • 5 years of experience in non-linear editing,
  • Proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro CC;
  • Demonstrated ability to work on both long- and short-form unscripted and scripted projects to be linked to on resume;
  • Working knowledge of broadcast technical specifications, and working understanding of technical and media management workflows;
  • Proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro CC;
  • Experience with Photoshop and After Effects is a plus;
  • Team player;
  • Comfortable working from a script, hand in hand with a producer, and working independently by selecting footage and developing the storyline of a program;
  • Experience in story development and story editing strongly preferred;
  • Good understanding of the post-production process, interfacing efficiently with graphic artists, audio engineers, as well as production managers.
  • Highly organized, keeping track of all necessary assets, delivery industry standard products, archiving media managed projects according to internal guidelines.
