Summary

We are seeking a Producer's Assistant to support our unannounced CG animated film. The Assistant will manage the day-to-day needs of the Producer on the film and support the production on an as-needed basis.

Job Description

What You’ll Do:
  • Work closely with the Producer to develop an understanding of priorities and commitments to ensure an efficient and productive daily schedule
  • Manage and maintain calendars, coordinate schedules, and set-up internal and external meetings for the Producer, Director, and production team
  • Communicate and coordinate with show leadership and production staff to ensure that Producer has all information and materials necessary for clarity on agendas and meetings
  • Provide support as needed in next steps, closing loops, and taking follow-up actions
  • Assist in administrative duties such as building crew contact sheets, putting together project materials and presentations, and taking notes
  • Coordinate travel, create expense reports, generate and distribute documents on behalf of the Producer and Director
  • Support the Producer, Line Producer, and Production Managers as needed in preparing materials for shipment to external agents, talent, and partners of all levels
  • Plan and execute events, crew gifts, and morale-boosting initiatives for the crew
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Other duties as assigned by the Producer
What You’ll Need:
  • 6+ months as a Producer's Assistant, Production Assistant, Executive Assistant, internship experience in animation production, or related experience preferred
  • Proactive, positive thinker, and problem-solver that can anticipate needs
  • Communicative, tactful, organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent verbal, written, and e-social communication skills
  • Comfort level working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment with the ability to manage time and balance priorities
  • Ability to multitask and juggle multiple lines of communication via email, phone, instant messaging, and video conferencing
  • Flexible with a strong desire to learn and a willingness to offer assistance with any task, large or small
  • Experienced in Google Suite (preferred) and/or Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of animation a plus
  • Knowledge of asset and shot tracking systems, preferably ShotGrid, a plus
  • Familiarity with Photoshop, Adobe Suite, and Final Draft a plus
