CBS New York, the #1 station in the Paramount portfolio of television stations, is looking for a creative, dynamic producer of special assignments!
The successful candidate will be a thoughtful journalist with a track record of developing balanced, engaging newscasts as well as the ability to produce long form content on a variety of timely issues.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be a thoughtful journalist with a track record of developing balanced, engaging newscasts as well as the ability to produce long form content on a variety of timely issues.
Responsibilities:
- Development and daily production of a newscast featuring the day’s top content, weather and sports
- Oversight of all content within the newscast, including assigning and communicating with reporter(s)
- Must have proven news judgement
- Must be collaborative
- Must be willing to take on long form content projects, including occasional news specials
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with desktop editing
- Knowledge of iNews
- Knowledge of the Atlanta area is preferred
Requirements:
- Must be willing to produce newscasts as assigned and work weekends or holidays as needed

Hiring Salary Range: $46,956.00 - 111,600.00.
