Job Description
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn about the many facets of local television and can use our technology to create dynamic, energetic, and engaging content. The person filling this role will be tasked with operating studio and control room equipment, as well as creatively contributing to content creation.
Responsibilities:

- Operate robotic, studio, and remote cameras
- Perform floor manager duties during live and taped productions
- Operate teleprompter
- Operate tape machines for both playback and record
- Assist in set and light of both studio and remote projects
- Regular maintenance of studio facilities and remote equipment
- Routing reporters, traffic cameras and other sources to be taken to air for live broadcast
- Work under deadlines
- Adapt to breaking news and developing stories
- Contribute story ideas to the newsroom daily
- Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year studio and/or remote production experience with a broadcast or production facility
- Demonstrated ability to perform all responsibilities for both live and taped productions
- Ability to write concise and compelling copy
- Knowledge of studio lighting techniques desirable
- Knowledge of ENPS and Edius preferred
