Job Description
Production Assistant responsibilities include:
- Preparing the studio for newscasts
- Operating studio cameras as directed
- Relaying information to news anchors
- Adjusting studio lighting as directed
- Operating teleprompter as needed
Other responsibilities may include operating the following equipment:
- Video switcher
- Audio board
- Microphones
- Character generator and related graphics software
- Video editing systems
The Production Assistant may also be required to perform duties in our Digital Broadcast Operations Center. Experience preferred but not required. Training is available. Must be available to work early mornings and weekends.
