Summary

Shiseido: The Production Specialist, Global Film & Photo Production is an integral, multifaceted production role, spanning A-Z production support for all creative assets coming out of the Global Design Studio and the Film & Photo Production departments. This includes, but is not limited to, Digital, Social, PDP assets, How-To and Artistry Education films, and Campaign.

Job Description

This position reports into the Senior Manager, Global Film & Photo Production.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage all product requests for all photo shoots: sourcing product for shoots (i.e. comps, bulk, like-as), ensuring product is delivered on-time and in photo-ready condition, tracking its safe return, checking product condition, organizing product closet.
• Provide production support for all creative shoots, including support on-set: managing product availability and condition, as well as general run-of-day, any/all production needs.
• Responsible for booking of talent for all quarterly social media shoots: photographers, models, glam team, studio, etc.
• Lead production for all on-model PDP photography assets: booking teams, creating shot list and sharing concept briefs, driving the workflow between photographer, agents, retouching team and internal Product Development team to assure deadlines are met.
• Create and track contracts for model usage rights and extensions and serve as a liaison with Legal to assure accuracy of contract language.
• Ensure smooth workflow of imagery between Creative, Product Development, Marketing, and retouches. Responsible for keeping Creative Operations up to date with project status.
• Support Senior Manager in tracking invoices and budget. Will be expected to attend team budget meetings to develop a greater understanding of departmental allocations and business priorities.
• Review final file deliverables and ensure all needs are met. Responsible for timely upload of final files to the DAM platform and notifying Creative Operations of updates.
• Responsible for ordering of Match Proofs & video file reformatting requests, including seasonal in-store loops.
• Manage in-house creative archive including fielding internal requests for current or archival campaign content.
• Assist Executive Director on special projects, such as Mr. Nars books and editorial shoots.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS/KEY STAKEHOLDERS:

• Collaborate closely with the NARS Creative teams: Global Design Studio, Global Digital Experience, Creative Retouching.
• Partner with internal cross functional teams: Creative Operations, Global and US Marketing, International, VM, Integrated Communications, Global Digital Strategy, Product Development, Packaging, Project Management, and regional partners
• Partner with outside agencies, creators, and creative talent

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in beauty or fashion production at a brand or creative agency.
• Strong ability to manage the full gamut of production needs, pre and postproduction.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and has experience supporting production on set.
• Must have exceptional understanding of asset creation processes: still life, on-model, moving assets
• Knowledge of top talent in the fields of hair, makeup, wardrobe, and product styling.
• Knowledge of industry trends is crucial, especially in the ever-evolving realm of social media platforms.
• Ability to thrive under daily deadline pressure.
• Team player with a solution driven attitude. Collaborative, positive and demonstrates a high level of maturity and presence.
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, ability to effectively multi-task, adept in creative problem-solving, resourceful and proactive
• Comfortable developing concept decks for certain projects and presenting cross-departmentally with confidence and expertise.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) preferred, with expertise a plus.
