Public Media Workforce Collaborative Fellowship
 
The Public Media Workforce Collaborative (PMWC), comprised of public media organizations Buffalo Toronto Public Media in Buffalo, Detroit Public TV in Detroit, Ideastream Public Media in Cleveland, and WQED in Pittsburgh, seeks an aspiring mission-driven leader with strong project management and communication skills to advance its work on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) through staff and organizational development initiatives. The PMWC Fellow will be the lead coordinator and facilitator of all activities, operations, and reporting processes for the PMWC in its work to fulfill specific initiatives as part of a two-year, $450,000 grant from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB).
 
Over the course of the paid two-year Fellowship, he/she/they will have the opportunity to work with executives, managers and staff across multiple departments at all four stations, and interface regularly with design-thinking, management training and organizational performance experts. The Fellow will coordinate key activities like station leadership meetings, management and staff training programs, human-centered design processes, and public media job/career marketing campaigns as well as support other projects of the PMWC. He/She/They will be responsible for collecting different forms of data and proof-of-performance examples, writing quarterly reports on activities and their outcomes, and developing a final Playbook for the benefit of the entire public media system. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated experience managing projects and/or activities from initial idea to final implementation and have the ability to write well substantiated reports. A Bachelor’s Degree and two to three years of project management experience in the non-profit sector is preferred, though an equivalent of experience in related fields and education will be considered. This is a two-year position with a $50,000 annual salary based at Ideastream Public Media in Cleveland, Ohio that includes medical coverage and paid time off benefits. The selected candidate will report directly to Ideastream Public Media’s Chief Experience Officer.

Requirements
